Welcome and thanks for visiting the page for How to  Be Somebody, a novel by Bridget Boland.

The iconic Audrey Hepburn has long been my inspiration and guide, not only for her films, but more so for her extraordinary tireless work as an ambassador for UNICEF, where she spoke up for millions of children in crisis who needed a voice. 

Audrey’s beauty was internal as well as external. She was the epitome of grace and love in action. 30 years after her death, her presence continues to inspire.

It was an honor and a privilege to convey a little known side of Audrey's story through my own story, How to Be Somebody. through the story of Savvy, a girl who longs to be like Audrey and Conrad, a boy who’s not certain he deserves to exist.

I hope you enjoy their story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
